Calling young filmmakers... Could you make a film about SE15?

Are you aged 11-25 and interested in making films? Then why not enter the SE15 Young Filmmakers Competition?

We’re looking for short films (10 mins max) on the theme of ‘My SE15’ to show at the 2012 Peckham and Nunhead Free Film Festivals in September. 

Maybe you’ve already got films on Youtube? Or perhaps this will be your first?

• You might want to make a music video or animation
• a short film about a place or person you know
• or a film about what SE15 means to you.

If your film relates to SE15 in some way, we’d love to see it. And you don't have to live in SE15 to enter, as long as your film relates to the 'My SE15' theme in some way.

Films should be 10 minutes max, but shorter 1-2 minute films are very welcome too.

Age groups

There will be prizes in two age groups: 11-17 and 18-25. If you are over 25 and would like to have your film screened please contact us about other events during the festival too.

Prizes

All films received will be screened at venues in SE15 during the 2012 Peckham and Nunhead Free Film Festivals.

Shortlisted films will be screened at Peckhamplex cinema at a special event at 4pm on Sunday 23 September.

The overall winner will receive a cinema pass to Peckhamplex for a year, for themselves and a friend. So if you win the prize you could get to see any film free for a year!

There will also be weekend cinema passes (valid for three days) to winners in the animation, drama and documentary categories of each age group.

So, enter the SE15 Young Filmmakers Competition and get your film shown to a big audience!
