Free community cinema for your area

Free Film Festivals is a community group which brings people together to share free film events and celebrate their local area. Next up: New Cross & Deptford Free Film Festival, 24 April-3 May.

Formed in 2010, we now support seven Free Film Festivals - all run by volunteers. Find out more about what's on in 2015 including the:

  • FREE screenings and discussions
  • outdoor films
  • children's events
  • new short films
  • and filmmaking opportunities too.

Contact each festival direct to get involved in organising an event or help run the festival. Or subscribe to our e-mailing list to hear about everything we do.

All our events are free and run completely by volunteers.

We are entirely not-for-profit and run by volunteers. Events are funded thanks to our partnerships with the community organisations and other supporters.

Do get in touch if you'd like to start your own Free Film Festival. We'd be happy to help with advice, support and projection equipment.

Each festival is planned and run by a separate group of volunteers. Find out more about starting a Free Film Festival.
